Welcome to the web site of the Rosenberg & Sons’ traditional apple orchard on Kemiӧ Island in southwestern Finland. The farm has a long history of apple cultivation, breeding several varieties to develop our perfect, fully organic apples.
Despite its northern location (N60°), the area is part of a unique archipelago microclimate that benefits from the warmth of the Gulf Stream. The terroir is characterized by sand and clay deposits of the Salpausselkä ice-marginal formations, perfect for growing small fruit with pronounced aromas.
The history of the Kiila Village, a nationally significant cultural site, goes back to the 1500s.
